What we don't realise is that it's the ordinary everyday people who do extraordinary things everyday. We think they above reach and far beyond our capabilities when someone has the ability to and willingness to creative, innovative, selfless or do very different things. Great inspirational leaders like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa and others were all ordinary people who made the hard decision to help the world and be fearless about it. They made daring and inspiring moves to challenge the world and beat the odds and they did not let fear stop them. What makes inspiration very special is the part where we acknowledge that it is "ordinary" human beings who rose to the occasion and had the powerful ability to lead the world to see and do better things. We can draw inspiration from people who came from modest backgrounds or impoverished homes to create beautiful things and climbed difficult mountains to reach their destination. They did not stop when people said "no" to them and kept going when people laughed at their ideas. They reached the highest points of their mountains to become great leaders because they kept themselves inspired during dark days. Too many times we second guess ourselves because we see only failure and do not take time to ignite the spark of inspiration within ourselves. We assume success comes only from recognition and we lose our inspiration and our faith in what we do. Sometimes the most inspiring people are not in the front lines and go unnoticed by us. They believe in their good and their duty to themselves, their family and community. They do their bit for humanity from the different corners from the world. They are inspired by the everyday actions that take them one step closer to a better world. Understand that you can be an inspiration to others, no matter what you feel you have or have not achieved. Even if you feel that you have not yet reached the endpoint, and even if you feel like you have reached a low point, you have the ability to inspire. No matter who you are, giving back and inspiring others comes equipped with many benefits. You never know who you're going to impact when you give -- and you never know who might be in position to reciprocate if you ever find yourself in a time of need. Giving back leaves a legacy that will live on far longer than you will. You will be amazed at the way inspiring others makes you feel. In fact, it is the only feeling that rivals the one you get when you realize you have achieved your dream. Most everyone has been at one point or other been struck by intense moments of inspiration which can come after much steady work and mastering technical skills. They can also sneak up on you when you are listening to a song or walking down a street. These moments don't make logical sense but they feel transcendent, irresistible and completely uncontrollable. Thats the kind of inspiration everyone needs to experience where the light and excitement spreads through your body and lights up your brain.
